Woman’s lawsuit claims sexual harassment, retaliation
A woman has filed a lawsuit that claimed that she faced sexual harassment at the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston and was then was fired after reporting it.
The lawsuit was filed in the beginning of August against an employee at the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston. The suit states that the woman faced sexual harassment, emotional distress and was retaliated against.
The woman worked for the CA Services Group janitorial staff and was assigned the health science center. The woman complained to her manager that the man was touching her inappropriate and giving unwanted sexual advances.
After the woman complained to the manager, her hours were cut and she assigned to unfavorable tasks. After telling a UT Health employee she was fired and escorted out by campus police.
