Whistleblower lawsuit filed against Full Circle Enterprise
The U.S. Department of Labor has filed a whistle blower lawsuit against Full Circle Enterprise Inc. of Conroe, Texas after an employee alleged that he was wrongfully terminated.
The employee was illegally terminated because he filed complaints claiming that there was illegal drug use and the lack of proper respirators that were needed to protect employees.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration opened an investigation after the worker filed a whistleblower lawsuit that claimed that the company retaliated against him and broke Section 11 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act that states that a worker can not be terminated after filing a complaint against the safety and health regulations of the company.
The investigation showed that the man was fired because of filing the complaint. The DOL is seeking reinstatement of the employee and is making sure that he receives payment of loss wages, and an expunction of this incident from his record.
