What is the Minimum Wage?
This can vary depending on your state and the nature of your job. For example, student workers or employees under 20 may have their own minimum wage of $4.25 (subject to change). In Texas, our minimum wage follows the national standard; Texas law does not state a set amount. Currently the federal and Texan minimum wage is $6.55, but it is set to rise to $7.25 by July 2009.
